Wilmington Clinic

The Wilmington Clinic has been serving St. Louis since the 1940s with chiropractic care that's still relevant today. Dr. Fiscella has run the practice since 1977, building a deep well of chiropractic knowledge over decades in private practice. What he didn't have was the time or interest to manage the technology needed to share that knowledge online, so he needed a partner who could handle that side of the business for him.

Dr. Fiscella wanted a way to share the knowledge he'd built over decades with current and prospective patients, but he needed someone else to own the technology behind it. As the website grew, two specific problems became clear: new patients had a hard time finding and accessing the intake forms they needed before a visit, and the blog, where Dr. Fiscella's health content lived, was difficult to navigate as more posts were added.

Over a decade ago, we built the Wilmington Clinic a website with a content management system that let Dr. Fiscella's team post content and blog without needing a developer for every update. As the site matured, we came back to address the two friction points that had emerged: restructuring the new patient experience and reorganizing the blog. We also trained the clinic's team on how to use their own system, and we continue to manage their day-to-day content management changes.

Website redesign

We restructured the new patient page so intake forms are easier to find and access. Patients can now go straight to what they need, whether that's a patient health history form, a health questionnaire, or condition-specific intake forms like the back index or neck index, without digging through unrelated pages.

We also rebuilt the blog page around clear categories (Healthy Tips, Nutrition Tips, Exercise Tips) and a recent posts section, so both new and returning readers can find relevant content quickly instead of scrolling through an undifferentiated post list.

WordPress development and ongoing support

The site runs on a WordPress content management system that lets Dr. Fiscella's team post and update content directly. We trained the team on how to use their system, and we continue to manage their ongoing content management changes so the clinic can focus on patient care instead of website maintenance.

Integrations

We integrated Mailerlite so the clinic can automatically send monthly email reports to subscribers of the website blog, keeping patients engaged with new health content without any manual outreach. The site also connects to the clinic's Facebook page directly on the homepage, giving visitors an easy way to follow along on social media.

Ongoing services

Beyond the initial build and redesign, we continue to support the Wilmington Clinic with blog posting, integration management, social media management, and video editing, giving Dr. Fiscella a full content operation running in the background.
